My Dad has passed away!!
I just wanted to say thank you to all my Brothers and Sisters in the guild and at faire for their comforting words. My Dad passed away from a Heart attack at Henry Ford Hospital, in Detroit, on Friday. I only just found out on sunday night.
Due to the fact that he had no insurance of any kind, and no one in the family has any money right, we can not have a funeral for him. Unfortunately not even a viewing. That alone for a one day viewing runs 1800 bucks. We are therefore just having him cremated.
Again, thanks to everyone who gave their kind words. You are all my Brothers and Sisters, my Ren Faire Family, My Chosen Family, The ones I know I can really count on always, and I love you all.
